We have the sole agency for TAILIFT in South Africa since 1995 and have brought in over 1000 units since!

Workshop

Our fleet range from 1.5t – 7.0ton forklifts mostly diesel and petrol. We cater to suit YOU, the client, you state your specifications required, we meet your needs.

Not only do we have the TAILIFT sole agency, but we also have MAST ROUGH TERRAIN FORKLIFTS, FLEXI, BRADSHAW and MAINI.

We grow daily with products, clients and most importantly… experience and knowledge.

History

First established in 1986 as a forklift repair operation. This small operation which started with a rental fleet of 6 forklifts, has since grown to become one of the leaders in the forklift rental industry. In 1994 we purchased our 100th forklift and in 1996 our 150th unit. We now have over 500 units in our fleet.

Rentals

The rental fleet comprises the full range of materials handling equipment, including standard petrol and diesel forklifts up to 15 tons, reach trucks and electric forklifts as well as electric tow tractors.

Due to the ever escalating costs of forklifts on the local market, the forkman decided to try and source equipment overseas. This brought about the acquiring of the TAILIFT forklift agency from Taiwan. These forklifts have proved to be very reliable and economical, and over a hundred units have been brought into the country.

The Forkman has established itself in the Northern Gauteng region as one of the area’s best “One Stop” forklift operations. We can offer our customers any customised rental package, both long and short term. Alternatively we can supply new or used forklifts at very competitive prices. We also carry a large range of spares, tyres and forks for all; the well known forklift brands.
